Eight districts have more than 500 active cases of COVID-19

With the rising number of coronavirus infections in the country, eight districts already have more than 500 active cases as of Saturday.

As of Saturday, eight districts in Province 1, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces have more than 500 cases, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).

More than 500 active cases of coronavirus have been reported in Morang, Sunsari, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Chitwan, Kaski, and Kailali districts, according to the Ministry of Health.

In Kathmandu, there are 9,061 current cases, 2,382 in Lalitpur, and 1,371 in Bhaktapur.

Similarly, more than 200 current COVID-19 cases have been reported in seven other areas. Jhapa, Dhunsha, Makwanpur, Kavrepalanchok, Nawalparasi East, Banke, and Rupandehi are among the districts having more than 200 ongoing cases.
