Pokhara-Jomsom flight has reopened on Sunday after a halt of around three months.
Due to the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, the flight connecting Pokhara, Nepal’s tourism hub, with Jomsom, the entrance to Muktinath, a renowned pilgrimage site, and the entire upper Mustang region, another popular vacation destination, was halted in December 2021.
The flight on this route is operated by Tara Air.
According to the business, five flights were operated on Sunday, with the majority of passengers being Indian and other international and national.
Every year, thousands of Nepali and Indian pilgrims flock to Muktinath.
