Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) to conduct three flights a week to Saudi Arabia

From April 14, Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) will offer three weekly flights between Kathmandu and Riyad.

With Saudi Arabia’s consent, the Nepali flag carrier will operate flights to Saudi Arabia, the largest absorber of Nepali migrant workers.

The General Authority of Civil Aviation, Saudi Arabia’s civil aviation governing agency, has given the NAC clearance to fly on Sunday.

The NAC will now fly to Riyad, Damman, and Jeddah with this permit.

Meanwhile, NAC announced on Sunday that it will operate three commercial flights each week between Kathmandu and Riyad-Kathmandu.

The Saudi Arabian government had given the NAC permission to operate flights in 2002 and 2020, however, due to a shortage of aircraft and bad management, this did not materialize.
