Patan High Court issues interim order to stop NRNA’s election activities till March 23
On Monday, the Patan High Court issued a short-term interim order halting all Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) election operations until March 23.

The order was issued by a single bench of Justice Durga Bahadur BK.
The NRNA election is scheduled for March 24 and 25.
Previously, Chintamani Sapkota, a member of the NRNA, had filed a writ case in Patan High Court demanding that the poll be halted due to the NRNA’s plan to hold the election on March 24 and 25.

The next meeting to discuss the problem has been set for March 23. Both parties have been invited to a discussion on the same date.
