Government honors head coach Abdullah Al Mutairi
The head coach of Nepal’s national football team, Abdullah Al Mutairi, has been awarded. Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba presented Al Mutairi with cash during an event held at the Prime Minister’s house in Baluwatar on Friday.
After the government agreed to provide financial rewards to the players and coaches of the Nepali football team that finished second in the SAAF Championship Football Tournament in Bangladesh, Coach Al Mutairi was rewarded.
The government has agreed to provide each member of the national squad with Rs 500,000 in cash, as well as Rs 300,000 to the coaches.
The government presented cash to the players and coaches of the national football team on December 21.
Abdullah Al Mutairi is a Kuwaiti football manager who is now in charge of the Nepal men’s national team.
He is also the head coach of Nepal’s men’s national football team, which is preparing for the 2022 FIFA World Cup (AFC).
