7 killed in China’s chemical plant fire
Seven persons were killed in a fire at a chemical plant in China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous province.
The fire broke out around 2:08 a.m. on Monday in Baotou’s Hondlon District and was brought under control about an hour later, according to Xinhua.
The rescue team arrived on the scene to locate the seven missing people, but when the task was completed at 6:40 a.m., the team discovered that all of the missing people had died.
The reason of the accident is being investigated.
